Now is the season of the Maine shrimps. Yey!
I really believe the best way to enjoy this sweet fresh shrimps is simply eating as is…means Sashimi!
Sashimi is a way to eat fresh fish or other seafood raw, typically use soy sauce as dipping sauce (see more details in Wikipedia).
This year (2013), the new restriction applies and the daily limit for trappers is lowered, so this limited time only shrimps are even more scarce.
How to prepare
Nothing can be easier than this. Shell it out, line on a plate. It’s done!
Serve with soy sauce and wasabi as dipping sauce. Don’t use too much sauce so as not to kill the sweetness of the shrimp. Enjoy!
